The nose as Wealth Palace
A client asked about money. The answer, conventionally enough, was in his nose.
What the face showed
In Mian Xiang the nose is the Wealth Palace — specifically the bridge for the earning capacity and the tip and nostrils for retention. His bridge was strong and straight; the tip was well-defined; but the nostrils were unusually exposed and the nose wings thin.
Classically, a strong bridge with exposed nostrils reads as strong earning capacity with weak retention. Money arrives. It does not stay.
What he confirmed
He had earned exceptionally well for eleven years in sales and had, by his own account, nothing to show for it.
The useful part
This is where face reading has to be handled honestly. The face does not change quickly enough to be a remedy. What it can do is tell you to stop relying on instinct in one specific area. We advised a structural fix — automatic transfer, a separate institution, an external constraint — rather than a change of character. Structure is faster than character, in money as in Feng Shui.
