Two years in the Hall, one decision she says she would not have made otherwise.

A four pillars chart drawn in gold ink on dark paper

The problem she brought

She described a decade of competent drift: good jobs, no direction, and a growing sense that the years were being spent rather than used.

What changed

She began using the monthly chart as a review tool rather than a fortune-telling one — comparing what the month ahead suggested with what she had actually committed to, once a month, on paper.

Two years in, the pattern was visible to her in a way it had not been: the commitments that drained her consistently fell in the same two months each year, and she had never noticed.

Her decision

She restructured her year around that finding. She attributes it to the chart; we attribute it to the fact that she started writing things down. Both can be true.
