The Sky Lantern he did not want to send
A man ordered a lantern for a wish he had not admitted to anyone, including himself.
The order
He bought a Blessing Sky Lantern and, at checkout, left the wish field blank. Then wrote to us asking whether he could send the wish afterwards.
The conversation
The wish is written on the lantern before the ceremony — that is the practice, and it is not negotiable on our side, because the writing is the point. We told him he could take his time, but not to send an empty one.
What happened
Eleven days later he sent four words. We will not repeat them here; they were his. The lantern was blessed at dusk and photographed as it left. He wrote back one line: I have known that for six years and never said it out loud.
Why this matters in an energy-blessing practice
The object is not the mechanism. The mechanism is the moment a person is forced, by ritual, to state plainly what they actually want. Most people never do that. The lantern is just the occasion.
